With its unique focus, pleasant ambiance and easy access, the Solo Project offers an alternative to the mercantile hustle and bustle of Basel during the fair week.

The 9th edition of the-solo-project is presenting itself – after the success it enjoyed in the last eight years in St. Jakobshalle (which is currently being renovated) – for the first time at to a public audience at a new location from June 14 to June 18, 2016: at Dreispitzhalle.

Dreispitzhalle, the renowned location for events and exhibitions, is the centrepiece of the Dreispitz area, Basel’s new cultural hotspot. It is located in immediate proximity to numerous cultural organizations and companies based in the Dreispitz area like the University of Arts and Design Basel with it’s spacious campus, the House of Electronic Arts Basel, the architectural archive of Herzog & de Meuron and Radio X, a leading cultural radio station.

It is an area with a very characteristic, notable aura. An area predestined for hosting the-solo-project with it’s newly created special events, for having fruitful talks, exploring inspiring artworks and spending quality time this early summer.
