Bark Berlin Galerie
Bark Berlin Galerie
Köthener Straße 28 | Berlin | Art Region: Mitte
Verena Kerfin and her team kept the BARK BERLIN GALLERY running since October 2017, accompanied by a steadily growing popularity among collectors and artists. Nearly four years ago a loosely related collaboration with the painter Ondrej Drescher began, together they brought numerous artists and their works to Berlin. This fact did not only convince long-term collectors, but did also support many Berlin artists, which resulted in the intention to found a gallery from inside the local art scene. Verena found support not only from the artists, but also from numerous curators of the diverse exhibition culture in Berlin. From the beginning the aim was to represent a wide spectrum of art, with the intention to present an unusual liveliness in the variety of working methods and techniques as well as in the reputation of the artists. Well-known artists such as Matthias Dornfeld, Stefan Rinck and Via Levandowsky liked to organize exhibitions in the gallery even as absolute newcomers. The gallery orientation is currently changing into a more broad-band work facing the international market the first art fairs are made and artists from around the world are invited to Berlin to create a meaningful synergy between the growing Berlin art and the collectors‘ scene. The gallery sees its future aspirations in the international art market.
