Founded in 2010, Galerie Tanja Wagner is all about broadening visibility and collection of art that challenges dated narratives, structures and hierarchies and offers a new vision and sensibility toward ourselves and society. Our represented artists have diverse backgrounds and a broad spectrum of global perspectives.
Our program is based on a collaborative curatorial approach and an ambition to build an inclusive and gender balanced art market. Alongside this, we are particularly dedicated to contextualizing our exhibitions with artist talks, performances and thematic group exhibitions, to establish a sense of connectedness.

We cherish deep relationships with our artists and strive to provide them with a comprehensive platform for their development, fostering close and cooperative connections with collectors, curators, and institutions across the world.

Working across a variety of media, our artists have gained critical acclaim, including participation in prestigious exhibitions, biennales, and art fairs (i.e. Art Basel Unlimited, Frieze London, Armory Show, Art Cologne), as well as acquisitions by distinguished public, corporate and private collections such as TATE Modern; The National Gallery of Canada; Belvedere, Vienna; Albertinum Dresden.

Tanja Wagner is passionate about establishing equality in the arts, which she regularly contributes to through conferences, university speaking engagements, catalogues, and other publications.
