The independent artist-run initiative kunsthallekleinbasel was founded 2014 in the center of Basel in an apartment inhabited by the artist, curator and art educator Jasmin Glaab. The non-profit initiative functions independently from public funding and regularly participates in independent art fairs and festivals throughout Europe. Since 2014 the initiative has realized over 50 exhibitions in collaboration with more than 100 artists, historians, educators, photographers and other cultural professionals, accompanied by concerts, performative actions, educational and networking programs.
